5 Ideas

  1. I want to make a logo for a company that will sell cruelty free make up products. Something that sells beauty products such as mascara, eyeliner, foundation, etc. This could involve something to do with a basic outline of a woman's eye but then put something in there to let them know that it is all natural and does not animal test. Possibly name on the logo- Fauna
  2. A travel agency that specializes in off-road style vacations instead of the normal resort style packages. I want the logo to go off of that idea so something that is a little bit less simplistic than others. Most travel logos just have the world or the swoosh but I want this one to stand out more and symbolize the idea of a more interesting vacation than just a resort.
  3. Tutoring center: a small elephant holding onto larger ones tail and the larger one holding a book on its tusks. Or another animal but with a lightbulb.
  4. Clothing line: a beachside, surf kind of style so maybe implement some waves or a sun. I would want to do a mermaid but Starbucks already went there and I think that would not be a good idea.
  5. Birthday candles that can actually make your wishes come true. This could include a candle and the smoke turns into a genie lamp. To play on with the whole wish thing and the genie lamp in the logo the candles can be named "As You Wish."

Just a Small Summary

I grew up in the south Miami area in a small-ish city called Homestead. Like most little kids, I enjoyed dance and music, but art was especially one of those hobbies that I cherished the most. After graduating from high school and completing AP and regular art classes, I was kind of torn on what exactly I should study in college. When I got to the University of Tampa, I started out as pre-vet because my love for animals was insanely strong (like crazy cat lady level but dogs instead) and I thought becoming a veterinarian would be just about the coolest thing ever. Well, two failed chemistry classes later and a way lower GPA I realized that as much as I love animals, I was just going to have to settle on something else. My advisor convinced me to pursue Advertising and Public Relations because I could get the best of both worlds and continue to get a little bit of art in while also seeing if I liked PR enough to where I could one day work for a non-profit involving animals. It sounded good enough to me and now here I am. I have always wanted to learn about designing and all of the computer aspects of art so even though I am unsure where my concentration will stand, I know this class will be enjoyable considering it is my first advertising class. Other than that, I enjoy other countries and especially traveling to them (my background is a photo I took while in Monaco) Pretty fancy, huh? I also always believe that there is more room on my plate for alfredo pasta and to reiterate on the animal thing- dogs are definitely people too.
